What an unbelievable day!
Jas Stormed into GreyHound Central (GHC) with all she could give. She was pulling tugging and knowing it was her day. It was pretty emotional all her friends that paved the way to her survival. So many happy tears! All the folks that work the intake stations were finally able to give her a proper welcome to Greyt Expectations.
After her grooming she just became the model citizen of the group. I started to think who is this imposter….. to add to my confusion they bathers put another dogs plastic collar on her. We use track collars so their martingales won’t get wet and bleed color on the hounds coat during their bath. Then she waited in her assigned crate watching in silent fascination as folks paraded past. I kept my distant; I didn’t want her amp’ed for her big day. I was like the proud dad….. wanting her to shine, on her own merit. It just didn’t make sense in my mind there were three brindle girls in their crates and they were all being good girls…. which one is Jas….. wait….. look for her kiss spot…. ahhhh there it is…. her little heart above her left eye yep that’s her….. man she’s being good. I wonder if the bath washed some of her personality away? Do good sweetness. Then I heard it was her turn a volunteered got her from her crate….. oh crap she doesn’t do stairs…. I didn’t teach her stairs……. Crap….. I screwed up. “Here please let me help her with this”. Come on Sweetness follow me, just me and you kiddo one step at a time we’ll go slow I thought. Atta Girl! Just like a pro! Atta girl!
Now she really started to shine…. It’s your time baby…. Go gett’em
Oh man…… you take care of this family
Jas that’s your part. Go give your new home

To all the folks at GEGR..... This is what's it's all about.
